Who I am
My name is Peter James and I’ve been playing piano/keys for the last 30+ years and of those the last 15 years professionally as a musician, session musician, songwriter, instrumental/film-score composer, sound designer as well as touring with various local and international artists. I’ve been involved as a keyboard player on a range of live and studio albums and have had the privilege of working as a session musician for a bunch of amazing talented artists and producers over the years.
What I Do
Over the past 15 years I’ve been heavily involved with Hillsong Church as a volunteer on weekends as well as being employed by Hillsong United and as a lecturer at Hillsong International Leadership College. I’ve also had the privilege of being involved as a keyboard player and programmer on 45+ Hillsong albums – Discography and toured these albums with Hillsong United and Hillsong Worship for many years. I’ve had the privilege of working with a lot of great software companies over more recent years, including being on the Beta Testing team for Spectrasonics and creating factory presets for their Omnisphere 2 software. My custom Omnisphere patches have featured on popular Netflix and HBO series like The Walking Dead, Murder One, Good Girls etc as well as 45+ Hillsong Worship and Hillsong United Albums.
